Midland Compounding and Consulting is the result of years of experience in the technologies and business of product development, thermoplastic compounding, recycling and testing of plastics.

A compounding, development and testing facility has been established in Midland, MI.  The second phase of MCC's business plan focuses on expanding consulting services and the supply of post-industrial recycled material to include PC, ABS, PC/ABS blends, PP, PE, PS, nylon and other specialty compounds.  Midland Compounding and Consulting is focused on niche market opportunities where specialty thermoplastic compounds are required.  For example, the company has developed and has patents pending relating to several high-density polymer systems.

Phase II also includes transitioning to a grass roots facility.  This state of the art facility will allow the organization to solidify business established during the initial phases of operation and generate new growth opportunities and sustain them through continued investment in technology, strategic alliances with key industry professionals and a passion for customer satisfaction.

Ted Brown, founder, has over thirty years experience in plastics production, compounding, recycling, processing, research and testing.  After 27 years at the Dow Chemical Company he co-founded, built and operated a successful industrial plastic recycling company in Eastern Michigan.  Midland Compounding and Consulting is building on previous experience to expand into new technological areas.
